np, "mon cals HAM regens faster under water" - that was pretty eye-catching at the time so I knew the post you were talking about. seems it is deleted then

As for the bothan bonus. Her is from the FAQ on the smuggler board.
Is it true that Bothans make better smugglers?
It depends on what you think makes a better Smuggler.
Bothans get an additional 10% discount off faction perks. Please be aware that the discount takes effect after the actual purchase. So you must still meet the cost to purchase a faction perk, but when you actually purchase it, you will notice that you don't spend the full amount.
This is the only bonus that Bothans get, over a smuggler of another race.

about the only racial bonus I know of is the human mind trick or whatever and also that humans get an automatic +5 or +10 artisan experimentation points and that rodan's I believe get weapon assembly and such.

I think only some have 'hidden' bonuses,mostly the ones withoutcombatbonuses 'shown'. These may be invisible because they added them later so no one was at a disadvantage in combat. I mean giving twileks just entertainer bonuses limits the race's playstyle a bit.

i can confirm the bothan discount about faction items and grades. though if you're imperial it's still better to be human lol

I don't think it is true. I regererate faster sitting down on land. Unless you mean regenerate faster than other races while in the water. /shrug
