Can they be equipped? If so do they filter out poisons and such?

They filter out the "gas clouds" in certain dungeons like the geo cave and the DWB mines. (although you will need a special modified one for the DWB mines.

However you cant equip both a rebreather and a helm, and having an armour hole on your head in either of those places is as good as commiting suicide add that to the fact that buffs can shrug off the damage caused by the poison. It means they are pointless.

Seeing how it cannot be dropped or traded, I'd say that it could prob be equipped.

They equip as glasses but you cannot see it on your toon, the only reason to have them is to pass through the gas clouds unhurt

theve been bugged in the geo cave for awhile and you cant pick them up there

Actually wookiees can wear both a rebreather and have head protection, since the helmet is linked with the chest plate(as I discovered when a wookiee in my death watch bunker group was happily sucking in the alum mine gas with his helmet on). Nerf the wookiees!

I have tried to pull these from the lockers a few times. Do I need to do something special?

It rubs the lotion on its skin or else it gets the hose again...
