yes i tried a serch. all i get is: "to many serches...."
ok what is the deal? players tell me it is borked. but i tried to add a +5 forage to my backpack, and it stuck, i see the stat in examin, and i see the +5 forage in my mod window.
so does anyone know if, in fact, its borked?
i got a nice CA i want to put into it...

You got a CA to work on a backpack? Are you sure it isnt one of those backpacks that requires the heavy leather to make? They have skill mods built in upon crafting. As far as I know CA's do not and never have worked on backpacks.

You can't put any attachments into a backpack. Sorry.
You can put it in a bandolier instead but then you'll be without that extra storage.

You are correct. Just one of the MANY things still broken since Launch Day.
And as a previous poster stated, it probably NEVER will be fixed.

Unless there is a new menu added to the radial menu of things that have sockets along the lines of "Add Attachment" I doubt it will ever be "fixed" because of the default behavior of things dragged onto a container.
So, devs, if you're listening: Add a button to radial menus that if the item has a socket, you can "add attachment" via the menu. This will fix the socketed backpack borkage issue.
Sounds simple, but I bet it'd bork something else in the process.

He has one of the skill mod Spec Ops backpacks - which has built-in bonuses to Melee & Ranged Defense and Forage. He didn't get a CA to work on it.

They already have forage? I forgot about that. Hehe. That would explain it right there then.

Thats what I was trying to say, the mod was already on it, those packs are no different then any other pack as far as CA's go. I think maybe you should look in your pack for your +5 Forage CA, lol, its probably just inside it.....
