I completed the hermit quests a couple of days ago. It was pretty easy as a Master Ranger doing it right after the server resets. I was able to do one or two a day. Each time I found the boar, farmer or pirates within about 5 minutes of looking.

But, the last two days, while helping a guild-mate find the spawns, I haven't found a single one. Can anyone verify if they've seen the mobs after they've completed the quests?

Thanks for the quick response. Every time I found them, I started looking just after the server came up. I made waypoints using the coordinates given in the walkthrough here in the game-guides forum (labeling them Altruism 1, Altruism 2, etc. so I would know which one I just checked). Then I went around to each one doing an /areatrack at each stop to find what I was looking for. The Altruism ones didn't even need the tracking, since the white spot on the overhead map was obvious. And /conceal stopped me from having to worry about the multitude of Mountain Squills in the area.

Whenever I tried to do this during my normal playing hours, I couldn't find them at all. When I started doing them at server reboot times, I found them with absolutely no problems at all. Courage on one day, Honor the next and then Intellect and Altruism on the third.

I had found Altruism on the second day, too, but didn't have my armor with me and was not buffed. Was in no condition to go into the cave. I went back to the cave that night, but the case with the explosives didn't spawn for me.
