Hi, i had some trouble with the hermit quest most specifically the altruism part. I talk to the farmer, go to the cave, do everything fine, then walk out with the two people right behind me, but unfortuneatly they dont follow me out, they dissapear, they wont respawn. What do I have to do now, do i have to talk to the farmer again? Do i have to reset my quests and go to the hermit again? Please help me out and thanks in advance.

man I tried to get to the hermit... by myself.... i got smoked in that cave... haven't even started it yet..

guess I'll have to hook up with some one...

as for answer I won't really know, but there is a really nice guide that might have an answer.... think its still on the top page...

That's all you have to do.... the only thing is that if you run too far ahead of them they despawn, but they don't leave the cave.

When I did it I ran out of the cave, and they simply despawned, and I got the badge and item.

Check your inventory just incase you may have missed the system message.

Had the same. if you reach the cave mouth, switch to walk, and slowly one step ata time...

out of the cave, waiting to have wife+kid as close to you as possible.

I almost messed this one up myself.

My problem came when I was just leaving the cave.

I got out, and saw the NPCs were walking back down into the cave. I ran back to them and had to converse with the wife a couple of times before she would ask me what to do again. Got them following me again and finished the quest.
