Hello,

I am new to SWG and MMORPG in general and I have a couple of questions about the game that I don't know where else to find the answers.

First, are the Badges listed on your character sheet special missions that you have to go on to get, or if you visit the Lar's Homestead, for instance, do you automatically get the badge?

Second, I have heard there a special mission you go on that are like story arcs, and what you do effects the outcome. How do you find these or become a part of these?

Third, I couldn't figure out how to fish It kept telling me to put on the bait, but I don't know what to use.

Thank you for any help you can give, and if you have any other tips for newbies like me, it is appreciated.

explortation badges you get automatically, the story arcs are over but you can still do them i think, and fishing is very very buggy.

You can get fishing bait by foraging your own, or buy some from someone (check the bazaar). Once you catch a fish and filet it you get chum bait that way also. You bait the pole by putting the bait in it (the pole is a container).
