Found an interesting piece the other night once I got to the village......heres the low down.
So I talked with the quest giver dude and chose to help the sick and dying. You need to go talk with another NPC whos name I can't remember atm, when you converse with her she will tell you that you need to heal 5 patients using an exerimental med she has created. Once you accept this force sensative task there is no turning back.
You chat with a med droid who will give you a series of symptoms such as Puss filled Lesions, Fever, Bloody Cough, Paralysis, Vomiting, Blindness, and so on. You must have a GOOD chemical crafting kit and a Crafting droid to assemble these meds properly. You need a good Organic (Food or Floral) and a good Metal.
(BTW the 3 total stats you need are OQ-66% and PE-33% and UT falls into a third item at 33%--(Which is funny cause 33+66=99 wonder what 1% fell to))
Once you have this you will begin crafting and experimenting to get different variations of the symptoms in the medical process. Each attempt in experiment will open up another level to the medicine you produce. Once you have crafted a few meds to cover the different symptoms you hand them to the droid and he shoots em up. After that you converse with the droid again and he tells you the symptoms remaining and any other side effects your meds have given the patient.
Stupid Q/A time..........
Q. If there is more than one person there talking with the droid will he cure symptoms you can't or finish the last symptom and get the exp count for the task?
A. NO no no no no no and no. Each task is set to the individual and the individual alone.
Q. So these meds are a pain in the *edit* to make huh, can i craft a crate of them and sell them to the poor fools with no doc crafting abilities at the villiage?
A. No the items made are non trade-able.
Q. What if I get really tired driving all over and have cured some of the symptoms.....will the med droid reset if I log and come back the next day to finish them up?
A. Nope for some odd reason the almost dying settlers seem to lay there for weeks with the same symptoms while your out gettin drunk in a cantina.
Here is a list of the Symptoms and overall % for the experimentation you must hit tocreate them:
Fever<10%
Vomit15%
Sores19%-23%
Lesions26%-30%
Heart34%-40%
Respiritory41%-48%
Lost Vision 51%-55%
Paralysis 59%-66%
Spasms 68%-74%
Cough 75%-81%
Swelling 84%-90%
Bleeding >90%
Vomit15%
Sores19%-23%
Lesions26%-30%
Heart34%-40%
Respiritory41%-48%
Lost Vision 51%-55%
Paralysis 59%-66%
Spasms 68%-74%
Cough 75%-81%
Swelling 84%-90%
Bleeding >90%
So I accept it thinking that it most likely wont pull from an existing experience pool in med crafting (Being a force sensative quest and all) WRONG was I. I am a rifleman / combat medic, the med you need to craft requires medicine assembly exp. After searching the galaxy for a resource greater than 980 stats I managed to find Beans with a 999 PE and a Steel with a 998 OQ, so I find all these GREAT items and pull out me trusty crafting droid and chomp some pol cake and bespin and open up my 15.00 crafting tool.....drop the resources in.....hit next and POOF 29% on assembly.......hmmm I though lets see what experimentation brings...........POOF Crit fail. Well that figures. I run the assembly process a few times and the best I can hit is a 67% total quality.
After all this I run out and get a crafters apron and managed to nail a 69% but tocuresome of the higher end symptoms you need to craft 90%+. The fix I found is dropping some of the hard earned CM tree and Climbing the DOC crafting tree. After climbing 3 bubs into the DOC crafting I can hit the 90% stuff each time. So for those wanting to select the medical phase of the village be cautious it will require you to have the skills in place to finish it.
Well there you go, if you have any questions contact me in game...

I think the admin was referring to questions, and as this is more of guide, I believe it's all right here. I could be wrong though, nevertheless, nice post!

I just did the same mission all 3 times for the plant. I ran into a completely different poblem as a MD. My resources were just about the same stats as yours andI couldnt make fever!
Ihad to beg and buy fever stims off of lower end medics lol ... so I would recommend bringing some horrible resources with you too if you are a MD

You need to actually get <15% and >90% (93+) and everything in between to complete the quest.

Seems as if I was mistaken or perhaps it was fixed with a patch that the following things can now be done. I wrote:
Q. So these meds are a pain in the *edit* to make huh, can i craft a crate of them and sell them to the poor fools with no doc crafting abilities at the villiage?
A. No the items made are non trade-able.

The first question is partially right, you cannot make a Crate of them however my chem factory cranked out 30 of each of the top end stuff last night so i dont have to sit there and fail over and over in experiment. -----And they are trade-able with other PC in the game.------
Second question was wrong, once the server resets so do your active treatments. If she tells you to cure 5 and you cure 2 then log for the night you will only need to cure 3 more.
In addition I am not sure how many cycles this healing gig is. I am currently in my 3rd cycle now and she is starting to give me things. Last night I got a necklace that has +5 to Combat Medic Experimentation. (which is funny, because it isn't a skill I am using to craft these meds.)
I will write more when I see it.

If you talk to her while curing a villager and you fail you will not be able to talk to another NPC for the remainer of your life on that server.

Well I finished it. It ran for 3 rounds with a total of 15 patients to cure. I got a +5 to Combat Medic Experimentation necklace and a plant that when you examine it says it produces fruit. The plant also has a health condition along with water and mineral soil condition. I think I am gonna have to water my virtual plant to get the thing to grow, which isn't good considering I cant grow anything in RL.
As far as the comment made about talking with the NPC and failing means you are jedi impossible. Hmmmmm I thought........these are the same people that seen a lunar eclipse and ran around causing pandemonium around the world. "The end is near!!"
Please if your going to post things like that back it up with a link and tech document or a quote from a Dev, dont drop that crap on a board where people will freak out and harass the devs over something stupid.
I am more inclined to believe that the Village is set up in "Phases" and these "Phases" revolve around a "Story Line", so once I completed a "phase" I need to wait 3 weeks to move onto another "Phase" of the village story. But in the essence of being true to my own words here is the URL posted By Thunderheart on the revamp
http://forums.station.sony.com/swg/board/message?board.id=in_live&message.id=22192.
Anyways this concludes this string for me. I will see you again in 3 weeks with a new post if someone doesn't outline the next village phase already.

Nice guide man...five stars.
I have a question however. You said that the meds can be traided to other players. Was that the factory made ones only or all of them made by a doc?
I'm a master medic, but i'd like to drop it and work on my template as soon as possible.
Thanks

Thanks for the props on the guide.
Yes they were all crafted in a factory, with a schem created by me after I climbed to the 3rd bubble "Expert Doctor Medicine Crafting". However once the Schematic is created a doc could hand it to you with the exact resources he used to craft them and you could run it in a factory yourself. If you have no doc crafting experience at all the best you can hit with "Amazing success" is around 48%. So read the % value part of the guide to see what your gonna want to have made prior to running there to complete the grind.
Dont take the last part for granted you will have to talk with her to get the eperimental agent schematic to poof on your schematic list. But once it is there I suggest goin to the cozy confides of your guild crafting area's and work the meds out. Remember you only need 15 patients so play it safe and bring 20 of each of the top 4 meds. I sold a backpack with 15 bleeding, 15 swelling, 2 low end resources and 2 high end resources (at 1.5k quantity) and a 14.85 tool to a guy for 250k in the camp last night.
So anyways off to water my plant.
