high on average whats the better pistol?
both are ap1 and acid damage any one know whats best over all?

The scatter can have much higher max dmg than the DX2 and when you're speedcapped speed doesn't matter much.

Depending on the range, the DX2 can be more accurate - but again, if you're a Desperado or MBH, you have major bonuses to accuracy... better yet adding on Pistoleer and/or FS Ranged Accuracy.
When I was a Desperado/Master Pistoleer I used both, but I preferred the Scatter because it packs a bigger punch. Rarely did I miss with any pistol, so it worked just fine.

Until you have reached a Master Profession, the DX is a great gun. Once you are a Master mount the DX on your wall and recall the happy memories of grinding. The Scatter pistol is a great gun for general use. Defer t your Geo Blaster for PvP or High Level Mobs, otherwise live and die by the Scatter pistol. Some Resons why;
1. Acid, very few Mobs and Player armor have Acid resist.
2. Scatter Shot makes it impossible to block. Not even Jedi's can block a person using a Scatter Pistol with Last Ditch or Torso Shot.
3. They are Fast,usually 1.7 or 2.3 once sliced.
4. They are relatively inexpensive. I have a DE-10, but only use it to hunt Jedi. Otherwise I grind through Scatter Pistols. More Cost Effective.
5. I sounds cool. Like an actual gunpowder weapon.

It doesn't matter what kind of shots or how many, a Jedi can block any ranged weapon, that includes flame throwers too.
