I am not a forum person, I don't really like them and yet I am here. I was looking at my FS xp and the fact I got 0 unlocks and realized it will take me 7-9 months to reach initiate (and thats if I don't get depoyed to Iraq again.) This kind of bothers me as I am married with a 6 year old son, go to school and in the military. Since I realized this I haven't been logged into teh game for more than 30 min as there is no reason to be. I have done quite a bit of the whole content stuff and just don't want to spend the next 7-9 months grinding. You have done a great job ofSLOWING people who will grind grind grind to get to be Uber-Jedi but teh side effect is that people who are NOT going to spend months of their real lives grinding are NEVER going to get to be a jedi.

.........It sucks and I really don't know what I want to do or say. I just hope that non Uber-players will one day be able to play a game better than the people who have no life, 3 accounts and Jedi (for this last part...I will play ANY game that is able to do this.)

I really do like this game, it's great. As my 5th MMO it will be remembered as the best currently and probable for a long time. But I am not sure I will continue playing a game I cannot complete the last goal I have (in the game)

well i understand where your coming from, but the devs did do you guys (the newer players) a favor, just think would you rather be grinding professions, (spending 1-2 mil per prof.) or would you rather do a quest every 3 weeks to unlock a branch : /, it takes 3-4 months to get all the trees.

BUT what people dont realize is that the grind isnt too bad, if you grinded 1-2 hrs a day or just 500k weps exp (not combat xp) youll be set with the amount of xp u need for your next branch. Jedi, isnt suppose to be easy to get, its the most elite prof. and everyone shouldnt have access to it...again good luck to ya

It's what the people asked for.

They asked the Devs to nerf the system so powergamers couldn't get Jedi within a month.

And they did.

What people didn't realise, and as I keep saying a lot, when you nerf a powergamer you super uber mega nerf the normal players.

We've been shafted by ourselves.

The only quam I have is that the give so little consideration to the people that have been playing for long periods of time. Sure when JTLS comes out we get a free ship, but anyone with six months gets that. I have been playing since the beginning and have gotten practically nothing for suffering the professions for so long that still have as of yet to be fixed. They have dropped everything for a profession that should be all but gone. If they would just stick to what they say they are going to do, it would help foster confidence. I know that it's our choice to play, which is something I will have to consider in the future if they still refuse to repair what has been broke since the beginning. I personally don't feel that jedi should be a major component to this system, nor do I feel that they should be very powerful to reflect the fact that training let alone surviving in this time frame would have been near impossible for jedi. Yes they were out there, but werent very powerful. Like the old saying... it is the nail whose head is sticking up, that gets pounded down. Neither here nor there just my two cents.

You're right it does. But what you and the other 4,000 mindless drones out there who keep pointing this out forget, is that this template is only for a crummy jedi with little use for any of the skills you grinded out.

Show me a template of a decent Jedi with skills earned from the phases in 18 weeks, and I will /tip you 1,000,000 credits.

The 18 weeks is if you want to waste your exp on garbage. For a template that will stand a chance, particularly Dark Jedi, you will need every edge you can get. And the ability to survey better, heal wounds better, craft better, fix weapons, THESE WILL DO YOU NO GOODAS A JEDI!!

I don't think there will ever be a game that rewards people more for putting in less effort. It doesn't make any sense.

There's no way a game can measure the validity of why you play less - you reasonably put real life as a priority but it's logical that your lower priorities will not benefit as much.

But it's unfair of you to categorize everyone who plays more as having "no life" - there are a great many people who have happy marriages, children, and careers and still have time to play several hours a night. It's unfair to judge them as somehow less valid than you.

Thank you for your service to our nation. I hope that you can get as much from this game as you give. But if you want a game where you can play a Jedi on your limited game time, you might want to get Jedi Knight II, Jedi Academy or Knights of the Old Republic. When you play JK online you're on equal terms with everyone else - maybe they have better reflexes but that's about it.
