I'm not sure if this is the right place to ask this, but it's the best place i could find so...

Why do the european galaxies have way more npc's in towns than the American galaxies?

I live in England but i can't play on the european galaxies because i have a low end computer, and trying to walk around Mos Eisley takes ages...aswell as numerous crashes to desktop.

I play with nearly all graphics set to minimum, and on Eclipse i have no problems. Infact i don't getany lag at all some days. But on Chimaera it can take up to 10mins to walk from a town exit straight to the point where i get the message "You have left Mos Eisley". Once it even took 30mins to get from the Mos Eisley starport to the bank, a trip which on Eclipse takes about 30 seconds (1min on a bad day). Walking from the back of the cantina to the theater usually means 1 step>lockup for up to 5mins, 1 step>lockup for up to 5mins, etc.

I have friends who tried the trial period but decided that they won't be playing SWG because the lag was so bad (on various machines). I told them to try the American galaxies and some did. They agree that there is less lag there, but still won't be playing because their friends (the ones with really high end machines)play on the european galaxies anyway.

It's bad enoughtrying to getall the european players crammed onto 3 galaxies, but why double the amount of npc's aswell?!

the devs are crack-high poon heads, i still dont understand whyin every city theres about 40 clusters of 40 npcs that give the same exact mission and move the same exact way. it really pisses me off that they could reduce the lag a ton if they just did that.

Yeah, Mos Eisley is crazy on the NPC end. A lot of others are more spread out or have less.

I hate the way there will be a dozen npc's walking the same route and standing on top of each other. There is no need for them at all.
