Thread: Overlay Map Question

My overlay map doesn't seem to be working properly, when i bring it up there are just names but no details of creatures etc in the local area. Also, when i zoom in towards the charachter the screen gets big green and white triangular shapes across it that obscures the charachter until i zoom out again. - this only happens when the overlay map is active
has anyone else had this problem or have any idea how i can resolve ?

Hmm.. outside of cities you don't see much on the overlay. It really only displays buildings (and some ruins) in green and all creatures in their respective color as a triangle (green/pink for group, purple for same faction, red and yellow for creatures and sometimes white for NPC's).

I have a question also - Does anyone know what you bind to for the zoom function - mu mouse wheel doesn't work for some reason and I could have really used zoom for the warren.

Now we are at it... I have never been able tounderstand the overlay map when inside complex dungeons and buildings with several floors such as the Warren and the Corvette. I admit to being a poor map reader in RL too... hehe. But does anyone have some clues on how to read the overlay map inside buildings?
