Thread: Which is the best European server?

Not an easy question to answer, but does anyone know which has the most action?
I guess it will be a function of:
* The most people
* The most PVPers
* The most mature audience
Interested to get any thoughts!

Thanks - why do you think it is good? What are the people like there? Who are the top guilds there?

People are generally very nice (but you do get idiots as well). I guess I think it's good becuase I have spent my SWG life their, have tried other servers and moved back. With regards to guild, are you looking for Imp, Reb, PvP, PvE, RP...? We have them all.

I'm also biased to Chimaera, but I do enjoy the wide range of guilds on offer - as stated, PvE, Rebel PvP, Imperial PvP, as well as quite a few number of roleplaying guilds (Mos Entha, Spiritwood, etc.), I think its a great server, whatever you're looking for.
However I don't really understand the status on the other servers; as I have playe don't them very little, so I wouldn't say "Chimaera rules, FarStar and Infinity sucks".

Farstar, no doubt. I also play on Chimaera and Infinity, but I always find myself spending the most time on Farstar. It has the most active community (just check the forum posts for example, Farstar was the first to reach 100k posts 
). With a fair share of both Imperial and Rebel pvp guilds, the odds are quite balanced and pvp in general is quite a lot of fun. Of course, we have the occasional lunatic running around, but most people treat eachother with respect

One more thing I should add... If you are really interested in joining one of the European servers, you should really just make a character on both (I dont recommend infinity as it doesnt seem to have an active community) and try each server for a week. See what you like best and then decide. I fell in love with FarStar, others, like the ones above, have fallen in love with Chimaera. The best way to find out which server you like best is to actually walk around there .

well unfortunately you cannot always have the best of both worlds
in my opinion, the servers with the highest populations generaly have a higher concentration of "unmature" aka l337 kiddies.
it depends on what you want more, moer players, or more matuer players?
