Thread: Can failed repaired armor still be worn for mods?

Just never thought about it till now.
Had one of those freak crash things when moving a nice AA and put it in a armor bicep.
If that armor break to 1/1 I'm I SOL?

Just never tested it yet not sure.
BTW- PLEASE SWG let us remove AA/CA from items/armor/clothing so that these things when they happen can be fixed!

As it stands currently, yes the skill mod will still apply even if the armour is down to 1/1 condition (or even lower).
The only downside is that the armour itself will provide no protection but will stillencumber you.
This may be changed in a future patch tho.

also, the armor will stil count as a hit zone, even though the hit won't recieve a reduction, whereas if you leave that slot blank, the hit diverts to a protected area.

at least I can still use the mods
if SWG changes this like they said in patch 10 without letting us remove these I see lots of people upset

But the point is that you aren't suppose to keep them indefinately which is also tied to the decay of the armor and clothes. Nothing is supposed to be permanent in SWG.
