Thread: Dual logging?

are you guys who say that your main is a doctor that gives your jedi buffs dual logging with both characters, or do you /quit and relog over and over to do the buffs? Or are they on two separate accounts?

You can log in both your main and your Jedi on the same computer if you change some stuff in your swg files. I buff my jedi from 2 accounts though that are both mine.

i just log and relog it gives me a minute or 2 ill 1 standing just inside a doorway and one just outside teh doorway sometimes if they are in the same room 1 will disappear.
but if you have 2 computers and care do some searches i think there are some ways to get dual log for a few minutes. but like i said i dont really care teh only annoyance is that if i buff while the jedi is logged then i dont get my neat little window with the timers letting me know when to run my bacon off.

ok, so does this require a second account or can you do it with 2chars on the same account?

you get 5 minutes or so before you get kicked off.
I just got kicked off...from both account and somehow my RebelJedi got a TEF while trading with my ImperialCovert ALT. **edit**

Make your doc the owner of a tat med house >admin your jedi... log in jedi and goto balcony upstairs then disconnect >log in doc > goto balcony upstairs and call med droid and buff away.. plenty of time before jedi auto logs.Plus your safe cos nothing can attack either of you.

How does one dual log if its possible? I keep getting the error "An instance of this program is already running, the application will now close" Can someone let me know what Im doing wrong here? Thanks.

Open notepad and paste the following:
[SwgClient]
allowMultipleInstances=true
Save as user.cfg in your SWG program folder. You'll then be able to run two instances on the same machine. This is what I do for my two accounts.
Make sure to select all files as the file type when saving. If you dont, you'll have user.cfg.txt instead of user.cfg.

also make sure that you have in explorer "view file extensions" turned on and that you are saving it as .cfg

it works like a charm...just make sure you have the memory and some gfx cards will flake out
