what is the best way to slice the knuckles of katarn? I was thinking about using speed slice and then a damage pup since the sac is so low.

Can do it one of two ways.
Either go full speed slice and as a TKM this should put your speed to 1.1 ish, mines 1.05.
Or go for 8% Damage and 4% speed which I think is favoured amongst those who do more PvP (I think) - it's similarly useful in PvE as well.
As far as pups go, due to the fact you're so quick as a TKM anyway, with specials being banged out you'll be surprised at how quick your action goes down. I've opted for SAC reducing pups which lower mine to around 50, and I find these far more useful than speed pups.

I remember seeing a guide to how to slice them but the search isn't working. Anyone know where to find the guide?

no there was a guide that had all of the stats that the knuckles had after every slice

the 2 most popular slices were 100% speed or 8% damage, 3 critical, 2 speed. i personally used the 2nd one.
