Thread: problem with acklay

Found the mutant acklay but from what I understand that isn't the one that gives you the badge. Everyone says it's inside the geo caves but I can't find it in there. Anyone have a WP? any help would be greatly appericated.

I've heard it's in the bottom of the cave, but it might be some other magical place I'm not aware of yet.

yea i ran throughout the entire thing.. FR3 made it really easy, but I didnt see it.

not the mutant acklay that gives the badge. the mutant one does give a trophy, however. The Acklay you're looking for is in the very bottom of the Geo Cave, and it's just called Acklay. If it's not there, that's cause someone killed it. It's on a 2 hour respawn timer so you just gotta wait.

Yep, 2 hour timer.

Easiest way to check if it's spawned is go to the entrance, and type /tar Acklay.

If he's spawned, you will target him from the entrance.

when you get to the geo caves, type /tar ack. If he's there, his HAM will appear. If nothing happens, then someone has killed him recently

On a side note, the mutant acklay outside the cave is ALOT easier than the acklay at the bottom of the geo. I'm MBH/MRifles/CM4000. I didn't even have to kite the mutant acklay...and he only caused me to heal once. The "Acklay" had me healing alot more, but since I was the tank in the group of 4, I didn't want to kite him away from the rest of the group. He fell relatively quickly, but he hits hard and fast.
