Thread: Crimson Guard Tie Quest bugged?

bah just get missiles, target the shields and second dary shields, take em out, and kill the engine
(note stay behind the engine the whole time so u dont get hit) this way the vette still has all its weap and it isnt defenceless.

I need some help, I am doing the crimson guard quest from the imp station in kash space, but I am unable to do damage to the corvette, in order to disable it! I had a friend try but the couldn't do damage also, we targeted the different components I.E. Weapons 1-7 and the shields also with the same results. There is nothing wrong with my weapons and or ship. Dose anyone have advice or is it just a bug?

Not bugged. I think you're hitting the vette in the wrong place.
Good strategy for the vette--target gun #5 and look for the yellow target box. This is the only weapon on that side of the vette. If you can knock it out and stay on that side of the vette, he won't be able to hit you.
Next, target shield #1. Remember, you have to hit the target in the correct spot. Next target secondary shiled and take that out. After that you can disable the vette or keep pounding it until it's toast.
Mark 3 concussion missles are a good choice for taking out these targets quickly, although a lot of pilots will tell you to just use lasers. good luck. Took me about half a dozen times to get the hang of it.
