Hello, First you need to go to your SWG folder and create a text file called user.cfg. Make sure the file extention on it is .cfg, and not cfg.txt. If it has .txt on the end it will not work. Once you have the file created, type this into the it with wordpad.

[SwgClient]

allowMultipleInstances=true

After this, save the file (dont save as, use the regular save)

Now you should be able to run 2 instances.

Note: I have problems with the second instance crashing when I try to run it sometimes, dont know what casues the crash, but most of the time it works fine.

NGE is not for me.

Remember: This enables you to run two instances of the client, not the launcher.

You will have to log completely into the game, alt-tab out, then start the launcher again, to launch the second instance of the client.

Double check that the file was named "user.cfg" and not "user.cfg.txt". *

Remember to log completely in with a character, then alt-tab out and start the second instance.

Check caps.

*) If your OS is set to hide known extensions, then it will hide the ".txt"-part of "user.cfg.txt", and what you will see is: "user.cfg"
