Coincidentally, my guild and I downed one last night. It took 6 swordsmen, 1 rifleman and 1 pistoleer about an hour to kill (95% resists to all except cold: 65%, and LS vuln.....but try finding a jedi at short notice on Farstar ).

But all it dropped was 10 cra**y tissues, nothing else. I have heard that they don't actually drop crystals, but I can't confirm this.

mainly people kill them for the "flawless" pearls they drop. Bring some jedi to speed things along

we looted 5 - 10 pearls off them yesterday

It may also drop a number of crafters bones as well, asthey ate a lot of us yesterday- our city Mos Highlands is right next to the Krayt Graveyard POI and inside the city limitsat one time were4 ancients, 3 canyons and a Juvi! While I was watching one lying right next to my factory, another ancient spawned on my head!

I killed over 10 yesterday (some with a group some without). Total was 4 flawless pearls, scales, and one set of BASE tissue. That's right, 475k ham with 95% resists dropped a set of base tissue LOL.

btw, bring a Jedi because without one it takes forever to kill them. Area intimidate, dizzy, stun, and k/d is just insane. Heck I died by mistake and it took me 10 mins to get back to my group but whenI got back the HAM on the Ancient was maybe 1k less lol. My Swordsman friend was saying he swore he was hitting for negative numbers as the HAM wasn't moving at all. If you don't have a Jedi in your group and a group with a Jedi comes in to kill your Krayt rest assure they will outdamage you unless you have an uber rifle with a decay kit.

You know i find a commando with a swordsman tank works just fine, we normaly down a ancient every 25 ish mins,but offcourse jedi work much better but this is an effective alternative
