I just got this game and Im still trying to figure it out. I read the online manual a bit, but as of now Im really confused. I just had a few questions for people that arent so new to the game.
1. What is the main objective?
2. How exactly do I recieve Quests?
3. Is there Leveling up or not?
4. The game doesnt seem very populated when Im on, whats up with this?
I know these are some pretty stupid questions, but any help is much apprerciated. thanks in advance.

Greetings, I gotta shoot off to work in a sec, but I can start you off. Those are some big questions you have there.
1. What is the main objective?
Whatever you want it to be, join a faction, go hunting with friends, join a guild, start a guild, get active in PvP, the Galactic Civil War, start a business and more. There isn't really any one set goal. You do what you wanna do, when you wanna do it.
2. How exactly do I recieve Quests?
There's lots of ways. If you've just started I suggest hitting ctrl+D and calling your bright green helper droid. he'll get you started. Aside from that, theres mission terminals in cities that you can get missions from, all sorts of places to visit, NPC's to talk to that give you quests, theme parks (Jabbas, Imperial, Rebel, Nyms) theres also a stack of caves that you can work through listed under your POI list in your datapad ctrl +D. Best start with the helper droid though, that thing explains better than me.
3. Is there Leveling up or not?
Yes to an extent. Each box in each profession (ctrl+S) takes up a particular amount of skill points. You have 250 skill points to spend on whatever professions you want. When you're done levelling and have mastered your profession, you can again, join the war, get into PvP or high level dungeons, big group hunts killing the toughest creatures, and earn a heck of a lot of cash along the way, or of course drop your skills allowing you to pick up new ones.
4. The game doesnt seem very populated when Im on, whats up with this?
Ah depends a lot one what server you're on. In general though, if you want population, head to Theed on Naboo, or Coronet on Corellia. Cantina's and star ports especially.
There's a lot more, but I gotta run. I'm sure someone will expand that doesn't have to be at work
G'luck!

- The main objective is to have fun.
- You receive quests by talking to the NPCs who give them out. Some do, some don't, so you just need to talk to as many as you can. You can also get missions from mission terminals which can be found in cities.
- As you play, you gain experience. This can be spent to learn skills.
- There are more people on in some places and at certain times than others.

1. Open-ended. There are mini-quests and badges and stuff, but you're not forced to do any of them.
2. NPCs give quests. Try looking through the game guides; you should find either a badges list or some such.
3. Not really. You have 250 skill points to "spend" on skill boxes (hit control-S), but you can always surrender those boxes and "buy" new ones. Play around, see what you like.
4. What server are you on?

1. Have fun
2. From about any NPCs.
3. There is an experience system, which you use to get skills."Sort of".
4. It's a big place. Go to major NPC cities, and you'll see a lot of people. Coronet or Theed are good places.
