Hi,

If this isn't the right forum I apologize but,I didnt want to post on each melee prof. forum. I am master TK and am looking to master another melee profession purely to help with fs xp.(due to skill points or lack of I need to do melee.) So I was wondering between fencer, swordsman & pike which is easier to grind xp? Just wondering if they are all the same or if people had opinions that one may be easier than another. Thanks for reading the post and for any help you could provide.

A speed-capped swordsman with a 550+ powerhammer can tear a whole in the planet in a matter of minutes.

If you can't afford the CA/AA's... a Master Swordsman with a speed-sliced powerhammer can creamate almost anything in seconds.

Pikes... better for PvP with all those happy DoT weapons.

Pikes! Pikes! Pikes! I will always vote for Pikes! Have done all of my FS grinding with Pikes and its a breeze and fun!

swordsman if you want to kick the crap out of everything, pikeman if you want to have cool animations

I am Tk/ Swords and I can cap out on swords xp and about 250 unarmed per buff session by going to lok and hitting Gurk spawns with swords and everything in between with unarmed. This is how I do all my grinding. Everyone has a personal preference but I do think that for overall effectivness a Swordsman is hard to beat.

yes I have grinded pikeman and swordsman, and swordsman is alot more efficient and the weapons are easyer to come by

The key to mindless grinding is spin moves, and swords and pikes both have good ones. Swords ends up being faster and easier because of the Power Hammer's sick damage, but a decent VL and a mob that's vuln to Electricity is almost as good.

the key to grinding xp quickly is being able to attack multiple enemies all at the same time, pikes and swords have great area attacks and although most people will tell you to speed cap swords or get a speed sliced power hammer, my advice is go for pikes and get a dmg sliced LVA and vibro lance then head over to yavin 4 and just go out and kill anything that moves.

I got lucky and got a 35% dmg slice on both my LVA and VL. so i'm doing about as much damage as a standard PH and i'm doing it quicker as well
