Thread: When weapons are highlighed yellow

Ok. This is probably a stupid question but I'm confused. When you look at an item in your invetory what exactly does it mean if it's name is in yellow? I've seen yellow text on weapons withor without dot's, high damage and low damage and also with or without attachmetns added. So what's the deal with yellow?

It just means that it has stats that are in some form or fashion superior to it's base stats. Low HAM costs, higher damage, faster speed, better accuracy or a DoT are usual... many will not be worth its time to even keep for any use. There are some that will appear with a tag next to it's name such as Power Hammer (exceptional) or Flame Thrower (legendary).... these items are extremely rare and warrant a good look at every stat.

Sometimes they will have mods on them too, the other day I looted a CDEF rifle with dodge bonus, and rifle accuracy. Everything else was perfectly normal about it though.
