Speaking about NS Elders...

You'll do better if you kill the usual ns mobs, as all NS tend to drop crystals, pikes, armor layers,
leathers, clasps and skill tapes at the same rate ... as you may spend an hour killing 4 Elders to get
one crystal you may get 5 crystals from 20 - 30 Witches in the same time.

But Elder killing can be thrilling fun and if they drop something it's usually better quality

Skill tapes will be +20'ish, Crystal Premium etc.



We had a great hunt yesterday around 1k from the NS Stronghold. My Ranger tracked 3 Elders in one spot,
so we went there to finally arrive at NS Fortress. It were 4 Elders, 1 Slave and 1 Sentinel in one spawn.
The rifleman managed to pull one after the other and before we killed each, we already had a respawn. So
we spend the whole buff session at one elder spawn and killed around 20 to 30 Elders. After 3 hours the
fortress suddenly despawned ... it was the most thrilling hunt i ever had, cause some were also stun elders
and needed some good tactics. All in all the loot was a bit annoying: 2 Crystal, 1 +25 mod pike, 1 dmg pike
and 10x 9% base armor layers.

3 Elders that I know you can find in the same spots everytime. although the queen is one of them and she only spawns once a day so your most likely to find her immediately after server reset only....you wait too long and someone will kill her looking for the NS vibro motors and pike energy lance.

the other 2 elders though are each at one of the poi's.....at the stronghold she's on the inside of the wall/barrier surrounding the cave with the white npc's in it that give quest.....she'sin one of those horseshoe like shaped ruins (she's spawn approximately every 30 min).....she's surrounded by initiaties, slaves and maybe a sentinel or two. In my onpinion she's the easiest one to kill because you don't have to worry about other NS spawining on top of you while you fight her.

The other elder is inside the cave at the forced labor camp (don't know the respawn time on her, probably 30 min too)....She's a little tougher only because the space is tight and the spawn rate of the npc's in the cave seemed to have been increased a bit. As a solo rifleman, you can't conceal shot her inside the cave because you'll have the spellweavers and rangers spawn on top of you.

To get to her you will probably have to fight past 2 slaves and a ranger at the entrance of the cave (sometimes a couple of sentry's and initiates might be near too because they roam). Inside the cave you have to fight through about 7 or 8 sentry's and sentinels.....then once you get of the ramp and turn right, there's 6 rangers there and the final turn there's a elder with 2 spellweavers next to her. With a group you can just charge through the cave no problem....solo, you have to single pull the spellweavers and kill them before you engage the elder. 2 spellweavers and the elder are tough and only a melee stacker can come out on top of that kind of fight.

Also, sometimes people like to pull the elders far away from the POI's to make it easier to fight them one on one in the open...mostly rifleman do this so they don't have to fight 4 NS and the elder in cramped spaces where they can't conceal shot easily without getting detected. I personally have kited an Elder4k all the way to the science outpost before....I was just fooling around though....LOL So some people mistake elders as random spawns when they see one out in the wild by themselves, chances are they have been pulled away....sometimes they warp back to the POI, sometimes they don't. Actually I've never seen a random spawn of an elder....don't mean there aren't any though....but if your looking for one, you'll have a much better chance just going to the POI's.

Personally, I go to these POI's for the elders mainly....and while I'm waiting for her to respawn, I kill every NS in sight....I get a backpack and inventory full of loot too. on average, I leave the camp with at least 2 power crystals and lots of LVA DOT weapons (which I have started destroying because i have so many, unless they are top of the line), rifles and other melee weapons with DOTs drop too (I got a rifle with a dot and a gaderiffi with a DOT 2 days ago they were about average).....they also drop color crystals, the new stims (got a +10 1 hand accuracy once and a +10 rifle speed...both with 5 uses).....you will also get bio effect controllers (some can be pretty good),NS armor shards, loot kit items, posters, heavy duty clamp,heavy duty leather, and the usual crap loot (disk, datapads, locked containers...etc)

Also, I average about 80k credits in about 2 hours.....although it's not like dong janta missions, it's still a lot of credits when all your doing is looting corpses.
