Sorry if this has already been asked.

When im doing FS missions, I have to do six branches total to do Jedi Initiate. But once i hit initiate, do I have to keep them? I don't want to just do any one and waste valuable mods, yet if it doesn't matter when i hit jedi I can save myself a month and a half in the story arc... can anyone help please?

currrently you cannot drop the skills after you hit intiate so just do whatever 6 trees you think will be the easiest because they wont matter at all once you are a jedi

you don't think melee speed and defense and ranged defense will help at all?

not true at all. first of all, you can drop FS boxes once you get them....but you have to drop everything above that which unfortunately means dropping initiate, padawan or whatever......but that would be a big waste because of the insane xp cost for FS.

Second, it does matter which trees you take because they also effect your jedi....melee accuracy will affect your jedi's accuracy with a lightsaber as will the other mods. the healing line will affect your jedi, the defense lines will effect your jedi....so basically you want to choose your FS lines carefully, so you don't end up with 1, 2, 3 or more lines that you don't like or use with your jedi.

now if you are going to just get your extra slot and either stay FS or drop FS with your main, then you can basically get the fastest lines you can...which is the combat ones.... Now if you want to stay FS with your main character you might want to pick those lines that will benefit the templete your main character will be. For example, if your a doctor, medic, CM, dancer, musician....the healing line would benefit you more than the persuasion line or the vehicle control line. Same as if your a combat profession...the combat related lines would be better.

just make sure you read up in the jedi forums, TC forums and gather any info you can before you commit to any lines at all.

can you learn more FS boxes after becoming initiate ?

if so, let's say you learn one more complete tree, can you drop another one as long as you keep 6 ?

got my answer from gotEgg in this thread

Once you complete 6 branches, you can NOT surrender any unless you fill a branch to replace it first...

For example:

If i want to drop the ranged accuracy branch (all 4 boxes) but i'm already in/past the trials, i have to unlock a 7th branch, gain all the xp to fill it, train in all 4 boxes, and then i can surrender ranged accuracy.
