So I fianlly do the Hero of Tat quests things, and I get all 4 badges inabout 5 hours LOL
sux to be the people who search for days for the NPCs and such
gotta love the unbalanced-ness lol
PS- this Ring is awsome

Congrats...
I have one question.
I have one question.For the Mark Of Honor...I've been killed by the pirates every darn time. Is it possible to just attack the Pirate leader till he goes white? With out having to fight the other two pirates? Or if they are attacking you will they stop once he goes white?

My suggestion to you is to kill the two pirate henchmen first, then attack the leader until he goes white. Do not attack the pirate leader after he goes white, and don't KD/Dizzy him either.

Oh, and if you're having problems with the pirates, get a friend to help, if you can.

I believe you can attack the leader till he turns white and at the same time the pirates will also turn white, but I could be wrong.
About the spawn rates of the quest targets.. my strong guess is that since pub 10 something got very much changed there. I can only speak about the pirate leader but a few days ago he spawned several times near a player city - way off the waypoints I got from a guide when I did the quests before pub 10. Whether this is intentional or not, it seems easier to do it now.

you hav eto attack his buddies first if u make him white they will still attack you and you cannot converse whilest in combat so those poor dudes have to die no matter what...

not a luck thing really, you just gotta be at the spawns after server up, then you dont have to spend hours searching

Nope...that is incorrect. Personal experience, I only attacked the pirate leader and his 2 buddies didn't even go agro. They do not turn white when the leader does though....so you can still attack them once you converse with the leader. The 2 goons never fired a shot at me and my thug faction is and has been -5000.

Yes, and no. The other pirates have to be relatively closeby, if they've wandered a bit away from the leader they will continue to attack you after the leader peaces and goes white. Simply peace out on the leader as you should, then toast the others if this happens. But the way it's *supposed* to work is they all stop attacking you once the leader peace's.
