Hello, Looking for some "beginer guide to macro's" for SWG. I've spent some time searching and can only come up with macro's for specific duties but not a generic guide to macroing. Can anyone point me to the direction of one?

Wrong location I think. There are crafting macros, but there are no such thing as crafting AFK macros. Try the artisan or armorsmith forums, there should be one there.

Ok, I'll give that a look. Not looking for AFK macros just general info on how to use them.

Here's another post that has a lot of macros. It doesn't specifically address you question but you could get a lot of ideas from it and find stuff that you might be able to use.
