Its probably once a day now since the devs went nerf crazy. A lot of the caves are only once a day.

None of the POI caves respawn at all now...

... quite why nobody has adequately explained, it's not like the once an hour respawn let you farm them for insane xp is it ?

Well, the squill cave maybe, but that was a hell of a lot faster than once an hour.
