Thread: Notepad is your friend A Helpful notepad tip

If you play SWG in full screen mode (as I do) then you may have ran into a situation where you need to look at some notes that are on a website or in some other document. You have to write the information down on a piece of paper or Alt+Tab and go back and forth until you are finished with the info. A real pain in the neck!
Here is where the SWG notepad comes in!
In game, type /notepad and a notepad thatyou can type in and read from will pop up. Now here is the fun part, go to you SWG installation directory, browse to your characters profile folder. You will see a file nameed "notepad". Create a shortcut to this file on your desktop. Now you can put text in the file and access it in game!
I use this to copy articles, hits, auction information and a bunch of other things. Give it a try!

Umm no reason to submit this... this was last weeks tip of the week... we are all pretty much aware of this

I just use the windows key 
Under ctrl+O, and Interface tab, I believe it is called? (I'm at work so i can't look at it).. you are given the option to use the windows key to minimize the screen.
Its a one button solution

to window the swg screen use alt+enter,and to bring up notepad you can just type /no
