Thread: Up To Date Faction Ranks ?

Hi guys, Anyone know where I can find an up to date list of the faction ranks and how many FP you need to get there ?. I have searched this forum and it seems there are mixed answers here. Thanks

--- Ranks (Ranks Are Not Affected By Race, Cost Same For All)
Benefits with having rank are three: you can hold more faction points, you pay less to delegate (See ratio in table), and you get to use factional base defenses.

Private (Cost:200) = 2,020 = 6.5:1 (Delegate Costs 650 to send 100)
Lance Corporal (Cost:400) = 6,060 = 5.0:1 (Delegate Costs 500 to send 100)
Corporal (Cost:800) = 10,100 = 4.0:1 (Delegate Costs 400 to send 100)
Staff Corporal (Cost:1,200) = 14,140 = 4.0:1 (Delegate Costs 400 to send 100)
Sergeant (Cost:1,600) = 18,180 = 2.86:1 (Delegate Costs 286 to send 100) "this rank is needed to use factional base turret terminals"
Staff Sergeant (Cost:2,000) = 20,200 = 2.50:1 (Delegate Costs 250 to send 100)
Master Sergeant (Cost:2,500) = 25,250 = 2.3:1 (Delegate Costs 230 to send 100)
Warrant Officer II (Cost:3,000) = 30,300 = 2.0:1 (Delegate Costs 200 to send 100) "this rank allows you to see ally base vulnerable timers"
Warrant Officer I (Cost:3,500) = 35,500 = 1.8:1 (Delegate Costs 180 to send 100)
Second Lieutenant (Cost:4,000) = 40,400 = 1.67:1 (Delegate Costs 167 to send 100)
First Lieutenant (Cost:5,000) = 50,500 = 1.54:1 (Delegate Costs 154 to send 100)
Captain (Cost:5,000) = 50,500 = 1.43:1 (Delegate Costs 143 to send 100)
Major (Cost:5,500) = 55,550 = 1.33:1 (Delegate Costs 134 to send 100)
Lieutenant Colonel (Cost:5,500) = 55,550 = 1.25:1 (Delegate Costs 125 to send 100)
Colonel (Cost:6,000) = 60,600 = 1.18:1 (Delegate Costs 118 to send 100)

I think they need to put some more ranks in.





If they have a issue with making better delegation levels than Colonel, they can just lock it at that, but they still outta let you bust past colonel.




Ive been sitting at Colonel for a year at least now.... its not really good or anything.

Originally I beleive they were supposed to have 7 more ranks above Colonel..Colonel being the 16th step, then High Colonel,Brigaidier General, Major General, Lieutenant General, General, High General, then Surface Marshall being the highest acheived. This is an area in the game imo they really need to work alot more with, some things we missed out on faction perk wise were:

1) Shuttle Pickup ("recall") players purchase a beacon that resides in their inventory, when used a shuttlecollects the player and his/her group.

2) "Rallying the troops" purchase a one time special move that grants a combat bonus to all fellow faction members within a radius.

3) "Bombardment" purchases a one time special device that summons flying craft to do a planetary bombardment on enemies at the location where the device was used.

4) "Global Factional Chat Channel" self explanitory


Besides those, the factional schematics, weapons, and armor also have left something to be desired. These are all really great idea's, why were'nt they used/expanded on? The whole faction thing is really a slight let down, it seem's that it's an area that hasso much more potential then what is currently available. Would love to see some work done on it in the future. This is'nt areply meant to flame in anyway whatsoever, just thought that the whole faction business could have been a decent part of this game.
