Thread: Hermit Quest and Farmer mission failed mission

Is there anyway to complete this if you failed to get his family out? When I talk to him again he just says, 'have you rescued my family?' or some such message. I go back to the cave, his family or the explosives do not spawn.
Anyone else had this? And have you managed to complete it if you failed it once?

Is it crowded when you are there? If so, it is difficult to tell whose sapwn it is. When I did this, I had the explosives on me the whole time I was there, but the family had to spawn about 7 times before I got the option to place my explosives in the rock. You just have to keep trying with each spawn...eventually, the spawn will work for you.

I have heard of people failing or having the quest bug on them, but leaving the cave is supposed to reset it.
When you go back in even the explosive is gone?
Do you by chance have any in your inventory?
Aside from that the only other thing I can think of is to hold out until someone else gets and completes the mission, hopefully resetting it.

No I don't have the explosives. I have been when the cave has been empty (apart from NPC) and they do not spawn

i doubt you bugged,when i did it i sat in a room on the right(dead end) in there there will be nothing,in about an hour it will spawn,get explosives then go blow up the rock and WALK to the exit with them or you will fail like i did,yes you can do it again
