I found out todaythat according to the Expanded Universe, Krayts have 10 legs.. where are the other 6 legs in the game's dragon?

Dont know where the heck a 10 legged krayt came from...but look at the painting at starwars.com in the EU section of the Krayt entry(I believe its one of the Ralph Mcquarrie's (sp?))...and you'll see the Krayt we all love and cherish.
That 10-legged krayt obviously must be some mistake...some REALLY big mistake as that renditioning of one is REALLY bad compared to what has been shown before in art and games...either that or SWG got the "Greater Krayt Dragon" wrong and is totally different...

Well it does say it's a relation of the Canyon Krayt (the type we mostly see) and...er...swims under sand so that might be why we dont see it. Maybe it swam into someones basement out by the graveyard and got stuck?

i believe george essentially ignores the EU. so in a sense the game may be closer to george's vision than the EU.

"While the canyon dragon is an impressive sight, it is dwarfed by the greater krayt dragon, a desert titan found amongst the endless dunes. The greater dragon actually submerges itself in the shifting sands, and can use its ten powerful limbs to swim through the dunes."

They should add this in as a much higher enemy. Notice how it says "has rarely been seen alive by Tatooine natives". This could be a very rare and powerful beast. and it could spawn anywhere on tatooine since it can "swim" through the sand.
