I would like to know if you can change the color in your char or in the bubble above your head i would like it to say something like this.
HI and welcome please invite me to your group .NO OVERTS
with no overts in red. i have tried this
/say HI and welcome please invite me to your group;/say\#ff030d\NO OVERTS
which didnt work
People in my guild keep getting me kick out of my house when they come and buff / So i was hoping if they see something in red they would check themselfs
thanks resolute

you cant put colour in chat but for somereason if you select a item with colour text and do an emote say /lick and put %TT on the end it will show the items name you have selceted in the colour it is on the item.

And the code for putting colour into the game is to simply put \# infront of it.
For example:
/gu .\#FF0000 hello guildies!
Will put "Hello Guildes" in guild chat, in red! Its important that you put a full stop before the \#FF0000 or it wont come out right.
you can find hex codes (thedifferent codes for the colours)here

You can color chat channels such as guild, afk message, replies, auction
Not spatial chatwhich aresay, yells, shouts, etc.
But be weary coloring such may get you on addignore
alot of folks have these channels colored for a reason and you are driving out the colors they chose
use color spareingly to highlight certain points or words,
and doing more then just a couple colors is annoying no matter what

Its also important to note, that you can not begin a line with the hex code. There must be some text before, or the hex code will also be shown in the chat. It doesnt have to be a period as in Yannos's example, but can be any text
