Are you talking about loading 2 instances of SWG at once on one computer?
If so, create a text file called "client.cfg" inside your SWG folder and insert the following into it.
[SwgClient]
allowMultipleInstances=true
If you are just talking about owning 2 accounts and logging in on them on one computer, all you need to do is setup a second station account and have it be paid up for SWG.

Paste the following into notepad, and save it as "user.cfg" (NOT a txt-file!) in the game folder:
[SwgClient]
allowMultipleInstances=true
allowMultipleInstances=true
Edit: Beaten to the reply
Another important piece of info:
To start the second instance, you must be completely logged into an account (select a character and load into the game). Then alt-tab to desktop, and start the second instance.
You cannot run two instances of the launcher, only the client.

I followed both posters instructions, and neither works as my file is user.cfg.txt, there used to be a way for you to change a file to be another type, but I can not for life of me get it to work in WIN XP home =o( Any ideas?

the problem is that the launcher downloads a new client.cfg when the filesize does not match what the one on soe's download server is, overwriteing your changes. no idea how to fix this, if anyone has one ill listen, i would love to run 2 instances.

Like I said - DO NOT save it as a txt-file.
When you hit "Save As..." You get 2-3 bars.
In the top bar you enter the name of the file: user.cfg
In the second bar you must change the setting from [ *.txt ] to [ *.* ]
I also just remembered, thanks to the poster above:
The following must be a line in the file named client.cfg:
.include "user.cfg"

so i got it working, whee!
file would not save as anything other than text until I did 'user'.cfg and the all files option as with Win XP I did not have a *.* option. Now time to ask Santa for an extra gig of memory ^_^
