I got enough Respec and skills to become one, but I dont know which one is better/worse, or if commandos really do need to be fixed, can someone tell me which to choose?

no one can tell you what to choose, after the combat upgrade, the game is based on both skill and template, not just "this template is the best". Having done both post(and pre)CU, i can tell you some pro's and con's that i've seen.

commando's hit hard, but they hit slowly, even if you manage to get speed capped (which is impossible for any profession BTW, speed cap is 250) you need to wait for the weapon animation to finish before your next shot, so yer lookin at an average of 2.5-3 seconds between attacks. Also, as a commando, you best have a supporting ranged profession, no specials, just weapons. Speaking of the weapons in the commando line are a bit of a double edged sword, all of them have a "special property" to them, usually an AoE effect. these can be useful, (i loved slowing down vehicles with an LBC, lol) but with all the AoE effects, you become a freaking aggro magnet in PvE, weather you are solo or in a full group.

Bounty Hunter is pretty decent, it has a good array of combination possibilities, and has some great specials of it's own. depending on your play-style however, the bounty hunting part of it may not appeal to you. Some jedi go down quick and easy, some jedi take a group. If you are uncomfortable (or a softy) about causing another player to loose several hours of XP, then bounty hunter probably isn't gonna be your cup of tea. If you are gonna be a BH, i'd suggest reading over the BH forums and know what you're gonna be getting yourself into.
