Then I see people in front of me, running towards me. First one passes, then another, then another. They are wide-eyed with terror, and keep taking quick, fearful looks behind them. There must, I realise, be something unutterably horrible in front of me, but my fear of the big birds compels me to carry on. More people run past me, all with the same frightened expression. They are running towards the birds, away from something unknown. I am running from the birds, towards something unknown. Not for the first time in my life, I curse my bad luck.

Are the keyboard commands for space flight and ground seperate? Meaning, if I program my keys for certain things in space will it mess up my ground commands? I have no idea what to do in space other than fly around and shoot stuff. I don't know how to target, check my ships status, freemy mouse frompiloting(other than opening up my hyperspace screen so I can move my mouse around) I'm hoping I can program my keyboard for space and ground seperately, there are only so many keys easily remembered.

Yes the keyboard bindings are seperate.

The '0' on my numpad is the "Target under reticle" (i think thats what it's called) in space

but on the ground it's my "/tellpet attack" macro that i created.

Great, thanks. I'm trying to learn this game. I guess I'll just have to launch my ship, fly over near the space station, and just figure out what I can program my keys to do.
