Thread: Any suggestions to reduce lag on kash?

I am running 3.6ghz, 1 gb ram, cable with 100mb network card, ati 9800 graphics card.I have pretty good performance, fps usually around 30 unless I am in a big pvp battle or on kash. as soon as I get to kash my ping jumps to 300+ and my fps drops to between 2-4.

All about the RAM 
Have a 2.8 GHz with 1 gig RAM , was running very smooth till Kashyyyk. Yesterday I popped on 512Mb more ram and now lagless. Only solution I have found or playwhen there are fewer players online like after midnight.

turn off shadows.... I have a 6600 gt pci e clocked at 550/1125 and I get about 8 fps if i have shadows on but if i turn them off i get a perfect 30...
