Thread: Necrosis Problem

Last night we managed to kill Necrosis 3 times. It was alot of work but we did it.
We tried again today and His actions were totally differnt... He would randomly drop agro and either attack someone else or walk back to his org spot and regen. Durring the times that he drops agro we cant touch him it is like he is in retreat. This is after his mahcine is gone and his 2 buddies. Any one haveing this problem?
We had a full group with 3 jedi. And could only get him two thirds of the way down.
Any thoughts or a conformation of this bug would be great.
We tried him 2 times today and both times the same thing.

Did you kill the batteries? I notice they respawn after a while, so you'll have to rekill them.
Also, keep him rooted as much as possible.
Finally, maybe you had a bugged Necro on your hands. I see some of this behavior from him at times, but not to the extent that he was unkillable.

Thanks for the suggestion but i double checked to make sure as did several group members. There was no Machine left also he never did the charging 12345 thing. He would just retreat and his regen with his sber down was unreal. And because he seemed to be in retreat we could not touch him. If we could at least knock him down when he would change to attack another player then we could get him but he would run and kill a ranged guy then walk back which means he had nearly full health again.

We had this problem a few times. We already killed the machine right at the
start but for some reason throughout the fightthebatteries kept respawning
in various locations. We killed one in the same spot 3 times on one occasion.

Mobs fighting at their spawn point have nowhere to retreat to.
We killed him last night, two Jedi Knights with some young Padawans in the group. The strategy was to conserve force for the first part of the fight, and let him try to recharge so we could blow up his power cells. Then after a couple of retreats we fought him right at his spawn point. Once we saw that his health was dropping more than before and he was no longer trying to retreat, wecommitted allour forcepower on an all-out DPS attack. He died well before we ran out of force.

he did this some the time we fought him too. All npc seem to decide to run around and kill all the ranged guys for some reason .... so much for tanks

Ranged guys tend to put out a LOT of damage and effects, and in general generate a lot more hate than the melee types.

once we KD'd him...he wouldnt get up. one of our group members got on him prone as a joke, and he got right up...LOL

have a master defender tank and have him pop a dominate mind in every little bit.
