If you purchased the item on the bazaar,the planet and citywill be on your retrieve items tab. You can retrieve it fromany Bazaar in the city.

The vendor search feature on the bazaar will let you search for items, but not purchase them. It lets you create a waypoint so you can find the vendor.

What TH said, plus:

If you bought it from the bazaar, it will show up on the available items list no matter where you are. Gor instance, if you bought an item listed on the Tyrena, Corellia bazaar from a terminal in Deeja Peak, Naboo, and had to go to Mos Eisley, Tatooine real fast and can't remember where the item is, you can go to a Mos Eisley bazaar terminal and click the available items tab. It willl show that you have an item for pickup in Tyrena, Corellia.

And as TH said, if it's listed for sale on a private vendor, you can SEE it listed on the bazaar, including where it is, but you can't buy it. Just tab the vendor search and look for it again.
