Thread: Does anyone know how/where to sell asteroid ore?

I've been to every station in 3 sectors and can't seem to get one that gives me the option to sell? Tried a boards search and nada...so is this borked or does no one really care since you can't hold enough to sneeze at in your cargo hold?

You can sell them at pretty much every mining outpost in space.

OK, so now I really feel stupid....but I can't seem to find a mining outpost...

Just find a shipwright willing to buy some. Ask if they want even more and for how much. Get yourself a contract and make some good money

Really. Stations will pay almost nothing for your effort. A shipwright will make it worth your work.

the 'mining outpost' is any station that is not imp/rebel or a system landing station. generally has outpost in the name.


when you target it from anywhere type /command you can communicate with it to sell your resources.


they will buy all space resources for prices rangeing from 2 to 20 cpu depending on the ore.


the prices also vary from station to station.
