You can really earn enough in space, w/o too much trouble. Prices vary by server, but you should be able to get a 50k weight ship for maybe 20k. One time I even saw a 92k Tier 1 ship for 20k. What you want to do, is open the Bazar. Select results from whole galaxy. Select Misc, select ship you want. And for tier 1 there will usally be 1 or 2 out there at least. If not, go to the last tab, and repeat, it will show you results from venders. Vendors will prolly have you playing more for less tho, so try to get it off the bazarr.

Start your search on the bazaar ->Vendor location -> Whole galaxy ->..... either go for Misc and find deed, which may have been used or go to Ship Components - Chassis for new ones. (need to pay a fee to the npc that also buys your looted shipparts to turn this into a deed)

Careful as the mass and hitpoints on ships may vary, More hitpoints and mass = better.

But also make sure to compare the lowest priced chasis/deed to the most expensive. Sometimes, 500k is the difference between so little difference in ship mass and hp...
