Ok, if i had known that i would my ability to view anything after i completed an item i would have started this sooner.
If you are going to do the crafting quest for assembly, there are a few things you need to bring with you:
aluminum, steel, copper, polymer, lube oil, rori fiberplast, talusian fiberplast, yavinian wind, and nabooian water vapor. these are the requirements of the 4 items you must make, who's names i forget.
at any rate, there are four screens that you will have to go through to calibrate these items once you craft them:
a series of triangles of blue and black.
a set of bars like setting up an amplifier.
another set of bars with a break in them and a verticle line running perpendicular to the four lines.
and a set of squares with varying color
Triangles
This is one of the tougher ones, because of its simplicity. You have to click the triangles until they match the ones at the bottom. However, there is a pattern that occurs when you click, and you lose 10% of the effectiveness for every click. too many mistakes and you will have to craft a new one.
Amplifier Bars
There is once again a pattern at the bottom that you must match. There are three bars are on the right and you must move them around and click "ok" until until they match. You lose effectiveness for everytime you click "ok" based on how much you move the bars. The top bar moves them a lot, the middle bar a little on the high end, and i never had to touch the bottom bar but deducation says it should slightly raise the low end.
Four Horizontals with a Perpendicular Ribbon
This is the most tricky. Thee is a break in each of the four horizontal lines. you must move the four sliders on the right until the breaks are all around the vertical ribbon, so no lines are crossing:
----|----@-- ----@-------
-@--|------- to ----@-------
----|-@----- ----@-------
----|------@ ----@-------
Again, moves are not done in real time, you must select "ok" before any changes are shown, which results in an effectivness loss. Make sure you are moving all four bars before you use the "ok" button.
Three Squares
Ok, this is by far the easiest (at least for me it was). Three Squares, all white, must be changed to match the three squares underneath. There are three sliders to the right. The top one changes the color on the far left square, the middle the center square, and the bottom the left square. Sliding these bars will cause the squares to go from white to black. My pattern was a ridiculously easy black - grey - black. Again, you click "ok" to show the changes, and experience an effectiveness loss for everytime you click "ok" to show changes.
I suggest taking about 5k of each resource in case you need to craft some extras, or find someone there in need of some help. At any rate, good luck, and may the force be with you... always.
