Thread: Do you have to do the Hermit quests as part to unlock the FS slot?

I am sorry, Im just a bit confused with the new and upcoming patch. What do I need to become force sensitive? I know I will have to wait till publish ten, and that missions are invovled instead of hologrinding! w00t. I am not a n00b, I am just a bit confused

I've heard 70 badges total with both warren, a vette badge, the exar Kun badge, and Obi Wan House badge. But I've also seen some posts talking about badges having weights(pts) attached to them, and you get visited once you have enough pts... I'm not sure if anyone knows exactly at this point.

I dont think so, just collect the main ones (warren ones, maybe one from the corvette, and the special forcey-jedi explorations ones)
you'll be able to check in game how close you are, forget the command though, something like /che

people have gotten it without the vette badge seems random like the holocron system... each player different badges...

What's a good force rating? When i use /checkforcestatus with my current character it tells me "You feel a surge of the force." I've heard other people have no connection to the force orsomething abouta "glow" .. anyone know what all the ratings are and in what order they are? When I used the command I had every POI badge in the game, imperial/rebel/jabba themeparks, theed palace trivia, master scout, and master marksman.

When i do this (/checkforcestatus) it tells me that it is not a comand. Any advice on how to determine how far along i am?

touse that command you either have to log on to test center with your current char or wait until publish 10

you need to have alot fo badges to to become FS? not just finish the quests?

I don't think anyone's 100% sure of what you need to have for badges but you need a relatively experienced character (badges and professions) to get visited by the old man.. then you can do the quests to become force sensitive after he appears to you. It's like a themepark only tougher.

so you can't do the themepark unless "the old man" visits you? darnit!

I am not sure all the ratings but i know there are 6... #5 is the surge and #6 is the inner glow... you need the glow for the old man to visit you.
