Thread: Baby varactyls?
It is a fairly easy quest, he sends you to kill jagged fang and then you loot the egg from the nest.
I did the quest but I have since dropped CH so I have a varactyl egg sitting in my house.
Not too sure what their gestation period is.

what does it look like? generic Krayt Pearl graphic?
It is fairly large so it doesn't look like a pearl.
If you have been in the myydril caves and did the collect x eggs quest, that is whay they look like. Sort of a giant sac with a pumpkin trunk on the top of it.

Good luck, on Naritus I see people offering 3 mil to aquire one. Not too sure if they are sucessful or not.

A word of warning on veractyl eggs...
The eggs themselves are bugged. If you put an egg in a public building, ANY PERSON can walk in and select the hatch command from the radial menu. When that happens, they will receive your baby veractyl.
Keep those eggs safe, boys and girls.
There are actually two types of varactyl mounts.
One is the lvl 65CH quest pet that you get by killing Jagged Fang.
The other is a lvl 10 mount that was a 'bonus' for those that bought the digital download of RotW.
Before buying, make sure that you can use what you are getting and have enough room in your datapad for it. 2 critters for Non-CH and 2+ for CH depending on your skills.
