Thread: How do you send in an in-game bug report?

I have rarely ever sent in bug reports during my time here for whatever reason, but the few times that I have, I have to wonder if I am doing it correctly. When I send ina bug report (the last time I did was when I "fell off" the Rhyaatt Trail and had to have a CSR rescue me), I go through the holocron, click on the correct tab and fill in the necessary fields. Then I fill out a description of the problem. Afterwards, I hit ok and send in the ticket. In my chat log I get a ticket number and confirmation that it was sent in correctly. However, when I check the open tickets tab, I see nothing. Since there is nothing there, there is no way for me to check my ticket number and to see the status. With the exception of the last time where I did send in an ingame bug AND posted on the tech problem forum, I have never received a response. So I wonder if I am doing something wrong. If not, then one has to wonder if anyone bothers to see this stuff.
Any thoughts?
There are two kinds of tickets it seems. They have the normal /bug one that when it send it you get a system message like "Thank you for sending a report. Your ticket #666", that is just a bug report. You won't ever get a reply from those kinds of tickets, as far as I know they go to the great bit-bucket in the sky.
Now if you use the holocron, do a search in the KB and then hit the "Just let me open a ticket", those get read by a semi-human CSR. I say semi-human cause it seems they only know how to copy-n-pastefrom some CSR FAQ when they reply to you. There is a thread floating on the boards about aplayer asking a question about Jedi visibility and the CSR replied back that the Jedi had to upgrade his video drivers. Anyways, those tickets will show up as open tickets in the holocron.
