Ok I want to know what is going on with the quests. The Hermit and the badges? do they still work?

1. half of them still work... should actually be easier now on the spawns since everyone is camping Dant. Do a search on the forums for altruism and intellect.

2. FS quest? FS and these quests have nothing to do with each other.

Well I thought they did I mean they said you have to get a certain number of badges a while ago. These are the only badges that don't fit with anythign else in the game.

to the origonal poster...i dont think anyone knows for sure.

It is being widely rumored that this "mastering a certain profession" theory is nearly one step.

So maybe they do, and maybe they dont. We will just have to wait and see

I was doing the initial Whip quest. I apparently found the encampment, but I never saw it. Therefore, I could not speak with the villager. Either it was too dark to see or it is bugged. Could someone please help?

The first WP leads no where. You will get a message saying that you lost their tracks,or something like that. You then need to search the area until you find the actual camp where 3-4 Sith will spawn. After killing the Sith you talk to the villager and using his radial menu you tell him to follow you. Unlike most other missions of this sort you actually have to lead the npc all the way back to the village.

Be sure to have your overhead map turned on when searching for the camp. It will show up as a small green line, sometimes with a square next to it. Good luck.

If you read my post, it bugged out on me. I cannot talk to the villager if he is not there.

Try talking to Whip again. Did the same to me too on first mission. When I went back Whip scolded me and allowed me to restart the mission.

And what is up with that smell?

Adding to warnerve's comment:

I recently surendured my high level profession (commando) for pikeman. I am only polearms 3 and had alot of problems defeating the Sith Shadow Pirates. If you are in the same boat (sorry i forgot to look who started the thread, so i don't know your name) or anyone else: The stratigy i used for "noob" characters was this:

Use your swoop (or whatever vehicle)to pull the hostiles away from the camp, because there is no lair they will not return to the camp and you can go rescue the prisnor with no resistance. idk if this helps anyone but it sure helped me!

I wish.... I wish... to pwn.... a FISH!
