The Friday Feature says you have to meditate at a shrine before you can go to the village. What shrines are these? And TKA meditate? Please explain...

that has to be a miss print. You get the old man to see you to get to the village. And you need to meditate at a shrine to start your padawan trials at after you get iniate im sure thats what they ment.

i know that you do not go to the village right after you get the visit from the old man. you have to do a couple of quests first i believe. this is probably the end of those quests

There is no going to any shrine to meditate to get into the village. On both TC's, you talk to the old man, kill 2 and 3 npc's, then you go to dath and talk to a representative of the village, and your in.

The meditation bit is for the Padawan Trials I belive & NOT for geting in to the village. If I remember rightly to Meditate at a shrine as a Jedi all you do is Kneel at it & selelct "Meditate" from the raidal menu on the selectable pillar.
As for the Old Man he comes to find you, normaly when your out of a city, then a little bit later some Thugs will apear to try & take what he gives you, you kill them, go to the camp you find out about, read the disk you get there & then go to Dath to meet a woman at the science outpost who then sends you to the Village.

How does the old man find you?
Is there something that triggers this?
Is there something you need to do first?

1) The Force?
2) Yes.
3) Yes.
Go look on the Test Center boards, where all of your questions are answered in great detail (as well as they can be).

All I did was just running normal missions and within about 10 mins, I notised a figure walking towards me. I ran over and tried to converse with him. First time nothing. Then he wanted to talk to me saying he had been looking for me. After a short conversation he gave me a crystal to keep safe. After that he disappears. Then later u get attacked as mentioned above.

Where is this old man?
Does he find me or is he located somewhere?

Ok i am understanding that we need to meditate at some shrines. Where are these shrines i have been tryin to find them with no luck if someone could give me the waypoints to them i'd be greatful. Also is this required to start the quest or is it just something cool to do

Well, first you need to have all 6 FS branchesyou need and have killed Mellichaeso you are able to start the padawan trials. You kneel down at the shrine and if you have done that and are ready to start for jedi, an option to meditate will come up. Think of the shrines like mission terminals for jedi padawan trials.
If you haven't gotten 24 FS boxes and finished the village exit quest don't even bother.
