ok to understand what im about to tell you I have to explain a few things. When I first got the game I bought the strategy guide with the game. I begin combing through the thing searching for any thing that would help me figure out to start on the path to becoming a jedi.

Well in the book there is a section called Global which list creatures and NPC through out the game. These Creatures and NPC are bound to a Particular Planet. Well on final page came across an NPC called Training Remote its social group is listed as Jedi Trainer. So I figured this was what i need to find to start the path to becoming a jedi.

So I jumped in the game and begin asking people if they seen it. Most people didnt know what I was talking about and when I explained they told me that the Strategy Guide was out dated. So I discard the idea of ever finding the training remote.

Then today as I was head back to outskirts of town what do I see roaming around but the Training remote. So I went up and clicked on it and did the whole converse thing. Well it does the same thing that a NPC Trainer would do if your trying to take on a new Profession. Instead of it just giving me Jedi profession it gave me a quest so I took it. Now im almost 99% sure this is the Jedi quest. Were and when the remote spawns I have no clue I think its random and you have to just keep playing till you run in to it by accedent.

Now those of you doing the Mark of Int quest. Id suggest giving it up cause I dont think its the Jedi quest. If it is then it wont work for you and some one has all ready used it and probably went through the remote to do it. Remember that SOE stated that every single person who Sets out to Unlock the FS slot would get a different quest from one another. Chances are this Mark of Int isnt to unlock the FS slot and if it is it will only work for who ever started it in first place and the quest was bugged. I really honestly dont know.

Now you can complete the Mark of Int quest dont know what you get out of it but wont hurt you. I just suggest play the game have fun but keep your eye out for the remote. you never know when it will show up. Im also guess that once a few people unlock the FS that they will probably be capable of finding the Remote again which means they can help other players to find it as well but thats just a wild guess. I have no idea how long it will take me to compelet the quest but im not going to rush it. I plan on taking my sweet time on it even if it takes me 2 years to complete it.

Also dont ask me about the quest. I wont give any one any details as to prevent players from thinking they can follow in my foot steps and end up wasting there time. If you want to be jedi find the Training Remote and start the quest (what ever that quest maybe).

Further more cause I know its gone happen and I just want to go on record as saying that you can Flame me call me a liar but it doesnt change any thing. So dont wast your breath. While your doing that Ill be working on opening FS slot. Sorry but just had to say that cause I wont be posting here any more. There is nothing I can tell you that will help you. All I can say is find Training remote and thats it. I will still come back and read post from time to time but thats it.

Any way I been up all night working and im tired that and servers are down so i cant do squat with my character any way. So good night and have a great day.

u said u talked to a jedi trainer and he gave u a mission so that would mean u would have to be a jedi or at least already have opened the FS slot wich i prob dont think u have done ...plus if this is just like the 4 acts how do u think it is different if everyone has to go to him as oppose to going to the hermit and getting those 4 acts done????

id like to hear ur answers???

just wondering?

first off i never said i was jedi what i said was it gave me the quest that once completed would open up the FS slot. Second every one is doing the Mark of Int which comes from this hermit. Now correct me if im wrong but did SOE not stated that the Quest to open FS would be diffrent every single time. Third I didnt say it wasnt the quest to Unlock the FS. What I said was that all these people doing the same quest are wasting there time because the quest to unlock the FS slot is supposed to be different from one another. So if only one person did the quest and got out which start this whole crusade for the Mark of Int and the guy or girl who started did same thing I did then it wont work for any one else. If its not then its not part of the quest you have to do to unlock the FS.

ok now im done. If you cant understand what im talking about then my apologize. Night have a nice day be safe every one.

this is what u said---

And my point is we r not looking for the jedi quests we r looking for the force sensitive slot to open up for us..in ur post it sounds like u r saying we have to jump strieght to jedi without being force sensitive....and all that mubo jumbo the hermit said was a lie... hmmm thats what im wondering?? and what did ur guy say ???the hermit said if u come back then you will be "transformed" and that he'll hand down his traits or something to that nature!!! this whole thing is just a theary as is urs u dont know for sure that urs is the one either...as far as what the hermit said ur guy could be on shrooms to and just start blibberish so until someone actually opens the slot we'll never know...

I can say right now that u should not bother ur self with that mission cause its probably not it..or even if it is then how do u know no one else has gotten the same thing and u could just be doing it for nothing!!! there r what 275,000 registered gamers!! lol so unless u have asked them if they got the same thing u did and what time it was and what server blah blah! plz dont go around saying its not the way for others cause at this point no one knows like i said!!!

bye bye

You do realize they never said there was a "different quest for everyone". They never even said the word "quest" and "unlock the FS slot" in the same sentence. That's a completely illogical statement. They probably have several hundreds of thousands of accounts, many of those containing multiple characters. Are you even trying to claim that they have enough story writers and coders to implement a unique quest for every single player character?

You do also realize that that is the name of the type of droid used in A New Hope by Obi-Wan to help train Luke's reflexes. They have no ability to talk whatsoever, they're not that type of droid. That strategy guide was also not written by SOE, it was written by a third party mostly using concept notes. If such a droid is in the game and actually does act as a trainer of sorts, it's very likely built by the Jedi themselves under their crafting line to train lightsaber skills.

It is also interesting that you claim to have been too excited to take a screenshot, yet you come here to post before even finishing the quest. Most quests can be finished in under 15 minutes with very very few exceptions. Besides, if you never finished the quest how can you say it opens your FS slot? The droid says "Do this and I'll open your FS slot" or something?

If you're going to lie, make it convincing. And if you say you're never going to post again, stop posting.

ok sorry you go to Training remote he gives you quest if and when you complete this quest it will Open up the FS.

Ok what is the difference from the Hermit and the Training remote. Well first off ive seen the Training remote but not the Hermit. Second the Training Remote can spit out Random Quest. third Maybe the Hermit also starts the quest that unlocks the FS slot not ruling that one out. Yet sense the quest seems to be the same based on what every one is saying i think its highly unlikely which leads me to belive he just another quest character that roams around.

keep in mind im 99% sure this is how you do it. Yet there is that 1% chance I could be wrong. Again the Training remote doesnt make you a jedi it just sets you on the quest to unlock the FS slot. If im wrong well im wrong no harm no foul. Yet its the only thing that makes sense. Ive read so many post about how to unlock and all of them are compeletly retarded and make no sense what so ever. I just got one that could be it if the path im on is wrong. Yet even that makes no sense. There saying you have to do NPC quest but there lot of frigen NPC in the game that dish out quest to do them all is well impossible, well maybe not impossible but even a hardcore character wouldnt be able to find them all in three months even if hes searching. I think the Training remote is the way to unlocking FS but will see.

Saying that you're 99% sure does not mean that there is a 1% chance that you're wrong.

I could be 99% sure that I can jump off a cliff and fly, does that mean there's a 1% chance that I'm wrong? No, it means that there's a 100% chance that I'm wrong and a 99% chance that I'm an idiot.

just cause uve seen the npc and not the hermit doesnt give u the right to call the hermit bogus wich i think its far from bogus.ive never seen the JEDI TRAINER lol haha walking around and he would have nothing to do with the story lines of the movie cause luke was tought everything through obi-wan wich in the movies is considered to be a hermit *hint hint*and as for proof u didnt even get pic's and there r PLENTY of pic of the hermit and his whole conversation ....oh and have u heard bout the npc giving out important missions to others on different planets then when u get to the planet his friend says he is a mental case and u actually ended up with gricery list LMAO...and that actually sounds like ur guy so if i were u i would do at least one mission and figure out if it has anything to do with the force or delivering a sack of patatoes!!!

And for the bases of starting out on a path there has to be a starting point for everyone so if thos is not it then where r we supposed to start then...and answer this y did the devs get rid of or put the hermit somewhere else wich i believe if it has nothing to do with the FS slot...oh and one more thing they said they were going by the movie and Obi-wan-Kenobi was named as a hermit, (again).. so who does ur guy represent from the movies??? just a random jedi guy walking around saying hey u wanna become a jedi ...thats y its so hard to find the hermit and the quests at that...
