could someone please tell me where i can find info on how to go about customizing my vehicle?

Once you have a customization kit, call out your vehicle and click on it to target/highlight it. Then click on the kit in your inventory. The process is pretty simple after that. (It's easier if you close your inventory window while clicking through the colors you want to try - you can see them change on your vehicle before you click OK to committhecolor(s) you want. This willsave uses in the customization kit)

Buy a "Vehicle Customization Kit" from a Master Artisan. Call out your vehicle and target it. Go into your inventory, right-click on the kit, click on "Customize" (I think that's what theoption is). If you /examine your vehicle, it'll be easier to see the changes. Then you simply select the color you want for the frame, select "OK" then do the same for the trim.

just another quick question...i noticed that there are different versions of customize kits, but the descriptions don't include what the differences are between them. is it just different colours you can change, or is it more to it than that?

I assume the different versions you are talking about are the number of times color changes can be made by that specific kit (as opposed to how many colors a kit has - every kithas the same number). This number is listed in the upper left corner of the kit icon (usually from 1-10) - or in the "bazaar" description. As a general rule, the more changes a kit can do the more expensive it is - butthis reallydepends on the seller. There are other customizing kits, like droid customization kits, but these will not work on vehicles (or visa versa).

the only difference between VEHICLE customization kits with other VEHICLE customization kits is that the artisan crafting it may make it have 5 uses, or 10, or whatever

ok, i see. i was starting to suspect something like that

i think the devs should work on upgrading that a bit. i'd like to see some structual modifications added.
