LOL they are made by weaponsmith they just use ackaly bones in the proces wich can be looted from the big insect thing in the geno caves.

Oh lol, Well thx. So I only need to get some bones from the Geo caves then? Does the quality have an effect on how ell the weapon smith makes the hammers? And how many bones to make one hammer?

Yes if you get good quality bones your hammer will be better i think you need 4 (? not sure) bones.

The ackaly is a strong critter in the last room of the geno cave you probably can't solo him.

How many will I need to take with me to get at the critter? I am a Doc/Swordsman. I have a friend that is the same. I know that the Geo caves are camped all the time though so sounds like it will be a bit of a hard time to get the bones. Do you loot the critter or harvest the bones?

A master doc/master swordsman team should be able to kill the ackaly if he dies he will spawn back in one hour.

The ackaly itself is strong but doesnt hit that hard the critters around him are the main concern since they spawn back fast.

You loot the bones sadly and some times he doesn't drop anything.

And yes sadly the geno caves are a camp place.

You should have no trouble getting to Ackaly's lair and killing him solo. I do it all the time with with a pikeman/swordsman/medic2040. Loot the corpse after you kill Acklay. Standard Acklay bones are 65/65 min/max so getting a great set might take some doing. I killed that bugger over 30 times before I got my first set of bones.

Usually, the Geo Cave is camped with Jedi, so you only have to compete with the hardcore campers down at the bottom. Beware though, as many of these folks are speed-capped with very good weapons. If you aren't speed capped, you dont stand a chance of out-damaging them and getting loot rights.

The most difficult mobs are the enhanced Kwis and I can tank 4 of them at once. It's rare to get into a spot with more than 2 at a time, unless some genius trains them onto you.

Acklay is on a 2 hr timer. I usually log on at server restart, head down and kill him first thing, then set my watch, wait 2 hrs and repeat.

Let me clarify: The acklay spawns once every 2 hours. It takes one bone for a Acklay Power Hammer. If you want a nice hammer hope for bones that are 100 min /100 max or better. As these are the only way to get upward 680-700+ damage.
