Hey can anyone tell me how to aquire slicing exp as a novice smuggler?Do I just have to constantly slice containers, and if so does anyone have an idea where I can get a constant supply?

I know there are locked containers that only a slicer can "hack". If you're on Ahazi, I've got a few that need slicing! Message me in game: Kallamhrym.

Hello, i am a smuggler with slicing 2 and i was wondering a quick way to grind out slicing experience so i can get slicing 4 and there fore be able to make clamps, since i keep having to buy them...is there any quick way to get alot of slicing exp real fast? if so tell me...thanks

Make money killing things.

Buy much copper.

Make many FAN's.

Buy many CDEF's for 30 credits or less on the bazaar.

Buy many crates of WUK's from a weaponsmith.

Slice many times with FAN's and WUK's on the CDEF's you purchased.

Rinse.

Repeat.

Slicing 4, if you didn't gather, seems to be bugged, so you really don't want it until you can become a master Smuggler.

Currently i am a 1,2,4,4 and i get about 200-300k pistol exp a day if i want...so the slicing exp is only thing keeping me back...and that idea sounds good witht he fans but my fans arent 94% or whatever...so should i just spend a rack of money on a rack of clamps too?

**edit** so much xp heh. Maybe I just talk to much in the cantina or something... Anyway you can buy clamps, but they are costly. 90 metal to make them, and your just throwing out the gun. If anything I'd suggest you use fan's on the CDEFs and yell that you will slice weapons with 100% success and save the clamps for that.

Please dont kill me if this has been posted a million times. I got novice smuggler yesterday and finally got slicing 1 today. I quickly made a few knives and went about slicing a mission terminal. I checked my xp, hmm. I got 110 slicing xp. Then I checked if it was added to my pistol xp because that's what I figured it would do. Nope. So my question to the great smuggler forum is, When I get slicing exp is it just wasted? Does it add to any exp that I'm not seeing and if it is really wasted, why do we still get slicing exp?

the only thing you can use slicing xp for is the village. so go jedi like they want you to, sell your account on ebay, and come back to us yo.
